Brenda, the owner has been working with llamas for 12years and has owned llamas for 5 years. She comes with a background in nursing and a passion for helping others.
Graycee has been a therapy llama for over 2 years and is a sweetheart who often lays down during visits, people snuggling up with her, and she gives great hugs.
Halcyon "Hal" has been a therapy llama for over a year and loves his neck rubbed and often makes a humming noise to show he is happy.
Callisto is the newest member to be therapy registered. He is a cool dude with cool suri fiber and a goofy personality.

WHAT IS A REGISTERED THERAPY LLAMA?
Graycee, Halcyon and Calisto are
3 of only about 10 registered therapy llamas in Minnesota
. These llamas and handers have gone through training and testing through Pet Partners
to be qualified as registered. Registered llamas
assure the customer that these llamas, at a minimum, are:

Up to date with vaccines including rabies and dewormer.

Currently healthy and well-groomed
-
Enjoys interacting with people
-
Responsive to their owner’s direction and support.

Have predictable movements.
-
Have no history of aggression or causing serious injury
-
Tolerates being around other animals
-
And the handler has a 1:1 ratio of llama to handler Is comfortable in various settings and enjoys the visit

Guides interactions during each visit in a patient, polite, and professional manner.

Advocates for the safety and well-being of the animal.

Knows the signs the llama needs a potty break or is stressed.

Follows infection control and privacy policies (HIPPA)

Has passed a criminal background check.

.Carries a liability insurance policy and can provide proof, when requested.
